RED-Certified Radio Modules: What Still Needs Testing?

EKTOS invites you to a hands-on Open Lab session focused on RED compliance when integrating Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular modules into finished products.

A pre-assessed radio module can simplify development, but once it is integrated into a new PCB, enclosure, antenna environment, power supply or software configuration, the behaviour of the final product can change.

The key question is: which existing test evidence can you rely on, and what still needs to be verified?

At the Open Lab session in Hvidovre on 22 October (15:00–17:00), EKTOS engineers will cover:

• What does a RED-certified radio module actually give you?
• What are the benefits of using a certified versus a non-certified module?
• What still needs to be tested in the host product for radio and EMC compliance?
• What should you consider if the product is also intended for the US or Canadian market?
