LED strips Wisva Optoelectronics – solutions for lighting installations
Flexible LED solutions for modern projects.
Wisva Optoelectronics LED strips are solutions for applications requiring parameter stability, production repeatability, and flexibility in integration with control systems. They are suitable for both commercial and industrial installations, as well as in furniture projects, smart home systems, and modern lighting arrangements.
The TME catalog offers a wide selection of Wisva strips, including Dual White (CCT) models. These allow for dynamic adjustment of light color, depending on needs, enabling precise control of color temperature according to working conditions or lighting functions.
Types of Wisva LED strips – CCT, COB, and special models
The Wisva strip range includes many types of products designed for various applications, both technical and decorative. The right choice is not limited to the appropriate power or voltage. Important factors also include: the method of light emission, the ability to adjust the strip length, and compatibility with the control system. Therefore, the offer includes solutions that can be integrated into both simple installations and more complex automation systems.
Available in the TME catalog are, among others:
- single-color strips (warm / neutral / cool) – for standard lighting applications,
- Dual White strips (CCT) – with adjustable light color,
- COB strips – providing a continuous, uniform line of light without visible points,
- special models, e.g., with side emission (side view), used in places where the classic direction of light emission does not work.
Dual White (CCT) strips – light temperature control
CCT strips use two diode channels: warm color (WW) and cool color (CW). By controlling their proportion, you can smoothly adjust the color temperature in the range from about 2700K to 6500K. This allows for:
- adjusting lighting to the function of the room or time of day (cool, stimulating light in the morning, natural in the middle of the day, and warm, calming in the evening),
- integration with building automation and control scenarios,
- obtaining intermediate values (e.g., 4000K) without the need to replace the light source.
The strips are available in various execution variants:
- classic SMD (2835, 2216, 3527) with separate WW and CW diodes,
- dual chip versions (2 in 1), providing better light uniformity,
- COB strips, where the light forms a uniform line without points.
Importantly, for the proper operation of CCT strips, a dual-channel controller is required, allowing independent control of warm (WW) and cool (CW) diodes. The power supply must be selected with a reserve – it is recommended to operate at a maximum power of up to 80% of the rated power. Partial load extends its lifespan.
LED strip parameters – voltage, power, CRI, and PCB width
Wisva strips are available at TME in various configurations, allowing precise selection to meet the requirements of a specific project – both electrically and mechanically. Key parameters include:
- supply voltage: 12V or 24V – 12V strips are suitable for shorter sections and simple installations, while 24V allows for reduced voltage drops and more even lighting over longer sections, which is important in linear and professional installations,
- power: from 4.8 to 16W/m – lower values are used in decorative or auxiliary lighting, while higher ones in applications requiring intense light output, such as work, display, or office lighting,
- CRI: 80+ or 90+ – a higher color rendering index (CRI 90+) provides better color reproduction, which is important in interior lighting, shop windows, or workstations where light quality matters,
- PCB width: 5/8/10/12mm – directly affects compatibility with aluminum profiles and mounting possibilities, especially in applications with limited space, such as furniture or narrow constructions.
The appropriate selection of these parameters is crucial not only for achieving the desired lighting effect but also for the durability and stability of the entire installation. Thanks to the wide range of available variants, Wisva LED strips can be used in both simple decorative applications and more demanding lighting systems, including linear installations and projects integrated with building automation.
Design solutions – greater installation flexibility
The Wisva LED strip range includes models that address specific installation problems. Two solutions are worth noting here:
An example of the first is the COB type free cut strip (HH-TWG-576GNB-COB), which can be cut practically anywhere. In standard strips, cutting points are specified every few or several millimeters. Here, this limitation has been significantly reduced, facilitating precise adjustment of the strip length to a specific dimension.
TME also offers strip models such as HH-TWUI-315GNB, equipped with side-emitting diodes. Such solutions are used in elements where it is not possible to direct the light directly forward, e.g., in narrow profiles or tight constructions.
Application of Wisva strips – from technical installations to controlled systems
Wisva LED strips are used in many areas:
- lighting installations in residential and commercial buildings,
- furniture production with built-in lighting,
- smart home systems and building automation,
- projects requiring control of color temperature and brightness, e.g., in office or display installations.
The TME catalogue offers solutions that can be easily adapted to a specific project, both in terms of technical parameters and installation method. Wisva LED strips are proven elements of lighting systems. They are used in both simple installations and automatically controlled systems.
