Actuator manufacturing at Pneumat is a precisely planned process, in which technology is combined with experience and an individual approach to the specific requirements of the installation. Step I. Pneumat actuators needs analysis – commercial inquiry, technical advice and consultation, production order

Depending on the situation, inquiries are handled in two basic variants – each of which leads to the realization of a personalized pneumatic solution.

Variant I: Selection of actuator based on catalog type

In many cases, Pneumat solutions are to be used in existing equipment, replacing older or worn-out solutions. Technical advisors, based on dimensional standards and ISO standards (e.g. ISO 15552, ISO 6432), suggest an equivalent actuator from the offer of Pneumat. Thanks to an extensive database of pneumatic actuators available from stock, Pneumat is able to quickly match a compatible replacement – without compromising on technical parameters or mounting method. Variant II: Individual actuator specification

The second scenario is the situation, in which only technical requirements are specified, such as:

  • piston diameter,
  • stroke length,
  • type of action (unilateral, double-sided),
  • type of mounting,
  • working conditions (e.g. temperature, dustiness, cyclicality).
